Day 1: Nairobi – Arusha

Depart Nairobi by shuttle bus to Arusha, Tanzania.

Arrive in time for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing or doing final gear checks.

Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha – Umbwe Gate – Umbwe Camp (2,850m)

After breakfast, transfer to Umbwe Gate for registration.

Begin your trek through dense rainforest with steep trails leading to Umbwe Camp (4–5 hours).

Dinner and overnight at camp.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 3: Umbwe Camp – Barranco Camp (3,950m)

Trek along a narrow ridge with dramatic views as you ascend into moorland.

Arrive at Barranco Camp beneath the towering Barranco Wall.

Dinner and overnight at camp.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 4: Barranco Camp – Karanga Camp (4,035m)

Climb the famous Barranco Wall, a non-technical but exciting scramble.

Continue trekking through valleys and ridges to Karanga Camp.

This is a shorter day focused on acclimatization.

Dinner and overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 5: Karanga Camp – Barafu Camp (4,673m)

After breakfast, trek to Barafu Camp, your base for the summit attempt.

Spend the afternoon resting and preparing for summit night.

Early dinner and rest.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 6: Summit Day – Uhuru Peak (5,895m) – Mweka Camp (3,100m)

Depart around midnight for the summit push.

Climb steep scree slopes to Stella Point, then continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa.

After celebrating at the summit, descend to Barafu for a short rest, then continue to Mweka Camp.

Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 7: Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate – Arusha

After breakfast, descend through rainforest to Mweka Gate.

Receive your summit certificate and transfer back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Arusha – Nairobi

After breakfast, transfer back to Nairobi by shuttle bus.

Arrive in the afternoon, marking the end of your Kilimanjaro adventure.
